Condition Monitoring

Condition monitoring is a vibration analysis process which can be carried out on any rotating machinery such as pumps, motors, fans etc.

How is it done?

Data is collected from rotating machinery using a specialised transducer and then downloaded to a workshop PC for detailed analysis. Predictions of potential problems and failures can be made by comparing prevailing vibration levels against trends from previous readings.

Condition Monitoring Benefits
  • Reduce unscheduled downtime
  • Minimise unplanned repair costs
  • Reduce MTBF (Meantime between failures)
  • Prolong machinery life
  • Improve efficiency of machines
  • Enable planned preventative
  • Maintain and improve production levels
  • Enable planned preventative maintenance shutdowns based on analysis
  • Reduce spares inventory level
