SALES & PURCHASE LEDGER ACCOUNTS AND INTER-DEPARTMENTAL ADMINISTRATION TASKS :-
PROCESSING PURCHASE INVOICES AND STATEMENTS ONTO COMPUTERISED SYSTEM
PRODUCING PAYMENT REPORTS, REMITTANCE ADVICE’S AND BANK DISPERSALS,
NOMINAL PAYMENTS, PETTY CASH & CREDIT CARD PROCEDURES
SALES LEDGER INVOICING, ALLOCATING S/L PAYMENTS, DEBT CHASING, CASH FLOW FORECAST,
BANK RECONCILLIATION,
MONTH END PROCEDURES: PRODUCING AND INPUTTING JOURNALS AND ACCRUALS
TRIAL BALANCE REPORTS – ANALYSING, INVESTIGATING AND CORRECTING
ASSOCIATED INTER-DEPARTMENTAL OFFICE PROCEDURES, SPREADSHEETS, WORD-PROCESSING, FILING,
ASSISTING WITH VARIOUS CUSTOMER & SUPPLIER RELATED TASKS
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTERISED ACCOUNTS SYSTEMS (IDEALLY PEGASUS SOFTWARE)
WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF EXCEL & WORD, PLUS TYPING & TELEPHONE SKILLS ESSENTIAL
WORK EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE – WITH ABILITY TO MULTI-TASK AND CAN DO ATTITUDE ESSENTIAL
GCSE LEVEL ENGLISH & MATHEMATICS REQUIRED,
A LEVEL MATHS OR EQUIVALENT ACCOUNTING QUALIFICATION DESIREABLE
SALARY RANGE £22,000 – £25,000 DEPENDING EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
MON-THUR 8.30 – 17.00, FRI 8.30 – 16.00 1 HOUR LUNCH,
21 DAYS HOLIDAY PER ANNUM PLUS BANK HOLIDAYS
